The Problem Statement.

Getting Closer to The Mega Project.

Introduction:

We can only grow together.

I want to make a business model canvas which might not only a source of income for me only but it also help 207 Million Youth of Pakistan. Our youth is wasting much of their precious time on internet in unhealthy activities watching movies, Whatsapp and Facebook. They don’t know how they utilize their precious time by earning through internet. Much research on the “digital divide” presumes that adults who do not use the Internet are economically disadvantaged, yet little research has tested this premise. After discussing several mechanisms that might produce differences in earnings growth between workers who do and do not use the Internet, we use data from the Current Population Survey to examine the impact of Internet use on changes in earnings over 13-month intervals at the end of the “Internet boom.” Our analyses reveal robustly significant positive associations between Web use and earnings growth, indicating that some skills and behaviors associated with Internet use were rewarded by the labor market. Consistent with human-capital theory, current use at work had the strongest effect on earnings. In contrast to economic theory (which has led economists to focus exclusively on effects of contemporaneous workplace technology use), workers who used the Internet only at home also did better, suggesting that users may have benefited from superior access to job information or from signaling effects of using a fashionable technology. The positive association between computer use and earnings appears to reflect the effect of Internet use, rather than use of computers for offline tasks. These results suggest that inequality in access to and mastery of technology is a valid concern for students of social stratification.

Problem Statement:

We observe that during the recent pandemic (Covid-19) that most of the people suffer from loss of their job due to the rise of global economic crisis. In order to help and establish a constant source of support for the needy people we need to aware people about how they can use internet as a source of income.

Objectives of the Study:

  1. Aware the youth of Pakistan about the use of internet as a job searching tool.

2. Tell the people how they can make a difference between a scammer and a legitimate site.

3. Skills they can learn in order to earn a handsome amount.

4. Aware the Youth of Pakistan about the global technological shift.

Targeted population:

We can target the 207 Million youth of Pakistan. Using internet to teach them.

Significance:

With the Internet taking over and influencing a large part of our lives, especially now with the work from home and social distancing situations in place to tackle coronavirus, more people are looking to ways to earn money online to increase their financial inflows.

Medium used for this purpose:

We can use the zoom, google classrooms and Facebook live as the medium to aware the youth for online business. Also we can use WhatsApp and telegram to interact with the youth.

Conclusion:

To meet the modern technological needs it is necessary for our youth to develop their skills using internet. One needs to take a step in this regard the condition right now is be like “Now or Never”. It is necessary for us to take initiative right now without any further delay.
